Split Screen allows you to work with two tools simultaneously without switching tabs. This is perfect for workflows that involve multiple steps, like converting an image and then compressing it, or formatting JSON and then converting it to CSV.

Select Tools: Use the dropdown menus at the top of each panel to choose which tools to load
Resize Panels: Drag the purple bar in the middle to adjust how much space each tool gets
Preset Ratios: Click 30:70, 50:50, or 70:30 buttons for quick adjustments
Swap Panels: Click the Swap button to exchange tools between left and right
Reset: Return to default state with empty panels and 50:50 ratio

This means you can use both tools simultaneously without any interference between them. The tools are loaded from their original pages, so all features work exactly as they would if you opened each tool in a separate tab.

Yes! Drag the purple bar between the panels to adjust the size. You can give more space to whichever tool you're focusing on. The ratio is displayed in the toolbar (e.g., "50 : 50" or "70 : 30"). You can also use the preset buttons for quick adjustments to common ratios. The minimum ratio is 20:80 to ensure both panels remain usable.

Yes, your tool selection and panel ratio are saved in your browser's local storage. When you return to this page, your previous setup will be restored automatically. This includes which tools were loaded in each panel and the exact ratio you had set. Use the Reset button if you want to start fresh.

On mobile devices, the panels stack vertically instead of side by side. You can still resize them by dragging the horizontal bar between them. However, due to limited screen space, using two tools simultaneously on mobile can be challenging. For the best experience, we recommend using Split Screen on a tablet or desktop computer.

External tools (like QR Generator, Link Shortener, and File Transfer) are hosted on separate domains and cannot be loaded in iframes due to security restrictions. Only tools hosted on tools.deniscasian.com are available in Split Screen. This is a browser security feature, not a limitation of our tool.

Currently, Split Screen supports exactly two panels. For more complex workflows, you can open additional tools in separate browser tabs or windows. We may consider adding support for more panels in the future based on user feedback. Let us know if this would be useful!
